MINISTRIES

Womens' ministry activities include weekly prayer time, an annual Ladies Day on a Saturday morning, fellowship at Ladies night out every month, organizing meals in the home for surgery recoveries, a special bible study series for women once per year.

Our youth are challenged with the priority of accepting everyone with love into their group. In our youth ministry, our young people come together to support and encourage, not to tear down. Our studies are based on biblical principles and stories that Jesus told. Our activities are planned by the group and supervised by 2 adult families or more. Palmetto Bible Camp has been a regular activity in the summer. Community Service projects are included in their activities, like baking cookies and delivering them to the fire stations in town.

MENS' MINISTRY AREA Under Construction

We invite your children and you to join us in our childrens' ministry. We thank God for the gift of our children. Their examples of love and acceptance have much to teach us. Our family promotes a caring atmosphere where your child can explore and develop at his or her own pace. We cherish and value our children as they begin to discover God's plan for their lives.

In our outreach and church planting ministry, our focus is to build the kingdom of God, to plant, water and allow God to grow his family. We are not concerned with “membership” in our church, as members in a country club, but rather saving souls and telling others about the Good News of Jesus. Whatever manner of reaching out to our community that fulfills that goal should be used and changed when appropriate. We seek to “plant” churches throughout our community to make God’s Word known to the world.

We currently sponsor Joe and Sonia Rhodes, missionaries in Bernaul, Russia. They receive support from many different people and congregations. They have planted a church that has grown to over 150 in attendance. Since Sonia is a native Russian, they were more quickly able to navigate the language and cultural barriers and progress of this work was rapid. Many are immersed into Christ each year, and new leaders are constantly being developed and trained to lead this Christian family. Joe has been able to step back into more mentoring and teaching roles, supporting these new leaders. God blesses this is work in numerous ways.

We've found many ways to help our community, and serve others that are not part of our Christian family. Through our community service, our desire is to participate in as many of the Anderson area events that we can. Examples of our efforts are Special Olympics, March of Dimes-Walk America, Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s cure, Habitat for Humanity, The Soiree (a downtown festival that allows a booth for exposure to Christ), and others.

Please consider being a part of growing and exciting ministries as we seek and share the life made possible through Jesus Christ.
